The June 26, 1995 issue of the New Jersey Law Journal carried a story about Nicholas L. Bissell, Jr., prosecutor of Somerset County, New Jersey. Bissell's office is the target of a federal probe into misuse of the county's forfeiture money.

According to the article, "On April 19, U.S. Treasury Department officials searched Bissell's home in Skillman and, according to attorneys familiar with the federal investigation, removed $9,900 in cash."
