Dear F.E.A.R.:

Thanks to you and all of the many people who worked so hard on this for all of us. You have done the one thing that I couldn't do: During our turmoil the detectives went to my 80 year old father and convinced him that they wouldn't be persecuting us if there were no guilt. The article in todays Oregonian helped him to see that I have not been shielding the truth from him all this time. We had a great talk today and he asked to see my FEAR literature. A great step for me in the healing process. My hope is that we can take advantage of the media attention we seem to be getting to let people know that this double jeopardy ruling is a GOOD thing. So much of the press is slanted towards making it sound like dangerous felons are going to be "back on the streets."
